This Holmes department store ad is from materials pertaining to the 1984 World's Fair in the mid 1980's shortly before the local chain was sold to Dilliard's in 1989. The ad mentions that World's Fair visitors would be able to shop at the Holmes-owned Bayou Banquet stores inside of the fair.
